THE DEVIL IS YOUR ENEMY BUT JESUS IS YOUR FRIEND
Peter warns, Satan is the worst enemy of man
But for us to resist is in God’s written plan.
Each day he is stalking as a lion his prey
He’s a deceitful liar; no matter what he may say.
In love with the world, he wants us to fall
Enticements of the flesh and eyes, he dangles before all.
We can resist with the help of God , our Friend,
He will always be with us to the very end.
Be sober, be vigilant with all our might
Exercise care, use caution, put Satan to flight.
The whole armour of God we must always wear,
Obedience and faithfulness will reward us with a home over there.

BEST RECIPE FOR A GOOD LIFE

If you want a long life and see good days,
We must tame our tongue and mend our ways;
Control our lips that they speak no guile
While being honest, not deceitful all the while;
Resist evil and from it turn,
Do good, seek peace, days will be fun;
We should go about doing much good,
Always follow Jesus’ example as we should,
Do what you can for your fellow man,
To obey the divine commands is God’s plan
The Lord sees the righteous with His watchful eyes,
If we do what He says, we’ll gain the heavenly prize.

THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE

“Today no bad memories will come into my head,
I will not relive deeds done nor words said.
The Lord has blessed me with this special day,
Happiness, joy and peace shall come my way.
To family and friends I will a blessing be,
I want my life for Christ the world to see.
My life should be salt, light and leaven,
Obedience and faithfulness will reward me in Heaven.”
