Definitions followed by appropriate applications are worthy of the time which is required to do such research

for information as well as extra thought. The biblical word ‘subjection’ occurs in many places (Psa. 106:42; Jer.
34:11, 16; I Cor. 9:27; 2 Cor. 9:13; Gal. 2:5; 1 Tim.2:11;
Heb. 2:5, 8; Heb. 12:9; 1 Peter 3:1, 5).

Strong’s / Young’s , etc., etc. Exhaustive Concordance gives the basic defnition(s) of the term– subjection.

Now to an application which the Lord Jesus ,himself, did–

-John 10:18 “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
