MALCOLM Parsley and PAUL Whitehead's PAGE update 2/22 ![]() We're glad they've safely arrived after 16 hours of flight and several change of planes on the way. Attitude is a big part of life (check 2 Timothy 2:24-25); God's will is for the servant of the Lord to: 1) Not be divisive (strifeful) 2) Be gentle unto all men 3) Be apt to teach (able and willing) 4) Be patient with others 5) In meekness, instruct others who oppose themselves These Christian friends practice these traits. Remember, friends, 'Seek First the Kingdom of God' (Matthew 6:33); you will be glad for 'all these things (food, clothes, shelter, hope) will be added unto you" Bro. Parsley is one who is officiating at bro. Woody Loden's memorial on Saturday at 2 pm at the church building. Later, he desires to speak with our friends at World Evangelism in Winona (Betty Choate). The lectureshp at Freed-Hardeman will get underway on Feb. 1st for the week. Malcolm and Paul are planning to feast in the biblical studies. 1.23.09.....We travelled together to Winona; however, the team there was in a special meeting in northern Alabama. We, nevertheless, made good of our trip by speaking of the work in general and the newest congregation seeking to do the mailing and personal encouragement of Malcolm and family. They got better acquainted with the Sonic hamburgers in America. 1.24.08....They attended the memorial service of bro. Woody Loden at the church building in Batesville. Malcolm closed the memorial with prayer which envoked God's care upon all who grieve during this time. They also were a part of the Loden household after the service. The service was a tribute of the life of service which he lived. Plans, also, were being made for the power point presentation at the church auditorium on Sunday (1/25) night, 6 pm service. I enjoy so much the spiritual insights Paul and Malcolm bring to any discussion. The Heavenly Father's will is always placed in the forefront of each conversation. 1.25.08.....Sunday; look forward to the update of the South Korean work this evening. And, what a presentation! Thanks for the power point viewing of the modern city of Seoul, South Korea. Had no idea so many highrise buildings compose the city of 16 million souls. Many congregations were featured; many needs including the future help of North Korea, Lord willing. Malcolm and Paul will begin their travels northward on Monday (1/26) first to Florence, Alabama, and Heritage University's missions department and overall college staff who major in world missions. On their way to Freed-Hardeman, they will visit many locations and individuals. Such is the life of a mission's worker. Let's help Malcolm and Paul, for they helped people whom we will never see. Their address now: M & P, Box 349, Batesville, MS 38505. Yes, let's help. 2.5.09.....Enjoyed visiting with Paul Whitehead and Malcolm Parsley the other night; they arrived for the lectures earlier in the week and were thrilled to be here. They engaged in a two hour discussion with a young exchange lady from South Korea on Monday. Sought to help her understand. They have flown back to Seoul and arrived safely. (More to come about Malcolm and Paul)........ ![]() |
